The Red-shouldered hawk is a member of the genus Buteo, a group of medium-sized raptors with robust bodies and broad wings.Red-shouldered hawks feed on a variety of prey, primarily small rodents, amphibians, and reptiles, and small/young waterfowl.
I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and lived in Europe for two years. My paintings are influenced by my travels and are a reflection of my personality and style. My love of nature, animals and music is reflected in much of my work. I earned a Bachelors Degree from Florida International University and now spend much of my time painting in my studio.I enjoy the visual arts and recently added my photographs to my gallery.
