Last week I went to Anhinga Trail and hiked on the Gumbo Limbo trail. In the far distance barely detectable to my eye was something standing on the trail, Imagine my surprise when I put the zoom lens and discovered this surprise, They saw me and retreated into the dense forest but I was so glad I was able to get several shots before they left,The white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) is commonly found in the Florida Everglades
