The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A colorful bird with iridescent feathers is poised gracefully atop floating water lilies as it spreads its wings. The scene captures a vibrant moment in a freshwater habitat, with sunlight reflecting off the water's surface.The Purple gallinule is a medium-sized swamphen native to the Americas. It belongs to the rail family that includes crakes, coots, and gallinules. I took this photograph at Anhinga Trail.
