Description
A cormorant perches on the branches of a tree, its feathers detailed and eyes keenly observant. Against a blue sky with wispy clouds, the bird's pointed beak and the bright green leaves of the tree stand out sharply. The double-crested cormorant is a member of the cormorant family of water birds. This cormorant is very adaptable. They may be found in diverse aquatic habitats, ranging from rocky northern coasts to mangrove swamps, lagoons, estuaries, rivers, small inland ponds, and large reservoirs.

Love your cormorant capture with the light touches of green pines, Judy!
