Mockingbirds are a group of New World passerine birds from the family Mimidae. They are called mockingbirds as they mimic the sounds of other birds, I took this photo on the Gumbo Limbo Trail in the Everglades.
I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and lived in Europe for two years. My paintings are influenced by my travels and are a reflection of my personality and style. My love of nature, animals and music is reflected in much of my work.
