The great egret, also known as the common egret, large egret or great white heron, is a large, widely distributed egret. Distributed across most of the tropical and warmer temperate regions of the world, in southern Europe it is rather localized. This is a painty version created from a photograph I took recently near the Florida Everglades.. The Great Egret graces the Florida landscape.
I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and lived in Europe for two years. My paintings are influenced by my travels and are a reflection of my personality and style. My love of nature, animals and music is reflected in much of my work.
